Joyce Ann Disandro

Joyce Ann Disandro, age 76 of Belle, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Joyce was born February 5, 1943, in Cherryville, Missouri, a daughter to the late Cordell “Corky” and Dorothy (Mae) Callahan.

Joyce worked as a Registered Nurse for Still Hospital and later Capital Region Medical Center for many years.  She also served a term as the Osage County Public Administrator. 

Joyce was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed working in the yard and going out to dinner with neighbors and friends.

Joyce is survived by: her companion of 35 years, Kenneth Schuch of the home; three sons, Kenneth Walling of Portsmouth, VA, Larry Walling and wife Saem Sao of Seattle, WA, and Jerry “Mark” Walling of Sunrise Beach; one sister, Paula Anderson and husband David of Union; 15 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Nancy Walling and a niece, Jessica Yarnell and her beloved dog, Sarah.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Morton Chapel in Linn.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Deer Creek Cemetery in Chamois.
